SOLD - Aftermath - What Happens After the Bushfires Rage

A$145.00
sold out

41.8cms W x 29.5cms H. Aftermath - Bushfires rage around the world, devastation in their wake - this original watercolor is my interpretation of the aftermath as the flames die down - Aftermath - what follows after the raging bushfire burns so fiercely, destroying everything in its path? The embers still glow and burn, smouldering away for days or even weeks - the intense heat has passed but the sparks still float in the air, ready to ignite at any time. Living in Australia, bushfires are a part of my life, and the devastation left behind - the loss of lives, homes, crops, wildlife and more - that is the true aftermath. This is an original Watercolour in shades of pink, burgundy, black, grey, yellow and purple on 300gsm Canson Montval paper
