Agapanthus Emerging - the Birth of a Beautiful Blue Flower

A$275.00

76cms H x 52cms W approx I have a mutitude of these beautiful flowers in my garden here in Sydney, and took a photo of one with the flowers emerging before it burst into full bloom. That was the photo which inspired this painting and, to me, it represented a birth or rebirth of something beautiful, gently entering into the world.. Though not a native Australian plant, we Aussies have laid our own claim to them, and they are lovingly referred to as 'Aggies.' The flowers are created in Watercolour, whilst the background and the dragonflies are in acrylic.with a touch of iridescent Watercolour on 638gsm Saunders Waterford paper, Thanks to @insituartroom for the room displays
