SOLD - Diversity

A$75.00
sold out

29.5cms H x 41.8 cms W - 'Diversity'- An experiment with new watercolour paints led to the creation of this piece inspired by leaves found on a bushwalk with my 4 yr old granddaughter. As I worked, it occurred to me that it was in many ways a reflection of our society - so many people in the world - we're all a little different but also the same - as with the different colours of the leaves, but the same shape repeated. The granulation adds to this effect as the colours merge and blend only to separate at will. Let's celebrate our differences, whilst celebrating being part of a much bigger picture. Created in Watercolour on
300gsm paper in shades of blue, purple, pink, green , teal
