SOLD Effervescence 2

Sale Price:A$0.00 Original Price:A$125.00
sold out

59.5cmsH x 49 cmsW Effervescence 2 is created in alcohol ink on Yupo paper. When I started this piece, I chose some of my favourite colours, and began to create without a specific direction in mind. The result was an uplifting piece which, to me, represents that even on the ‘bluest’ of days, when you’re feeling down, those little bubbles of hope and joy just insist on surfacing to lift our mood. In the beginning, you may not even notice them but, as in this painting, they become stronger and more plentiful, until they outnumber the darker thoughts. Created during mental health awareness week, I think we have all been affected by low moods and even depression since Covid appeared in our lives. This artwork is to remind us there is hope on the horizon .
