SOLD- Sleeping Beauty amongst the Gum Blossoms
41.8cms H x 29.5cms W - 'Sleeping Beauty' - this artwork was inspired by a beautiful photograph of my 5yr old granddaughter Grace, surrounded by bubbles. I wanted to try and create the tranquil beauty of that moment in time and, as we live in Australia, the idea of painting her surrounded by gum blossoms emerged. We both love vibrant, hot pink, so there really was no other colour choice. Created in Watercolour pencil, paint and Gouache on 300sm Fabriano paper in shades of Hot Pink (aka Opera Pink), Black and White
