SOLD - Yellow Poppies

'Yellow Poppies." 41.8 cms H x 29.5 cms W . Picture a fied full of poppies - what colour are they? Most likely you immediately thought o f red! Why? Because that's how they are portrayed in the vast majority of cases A chance encounter with a photo by Sue Rickhuss of two yellow poppies made me realise how rare it was to see them, and made me decide to try and redress the balance a little, and so this artwork was created. I love the striking contrast of the rich purple against the citrus yellow of the poppies - I hope you do too. Thanks to Sue Rickhuss, and to @insituartroom for the room displays.
